You´ll love this super easy to make and nourishing raw vegetable broth. If you know anything about store-bought broths, stocks or bullion cubes- you know they are not fresh and they rely heavily on flavor enhancers such as MSG, natural flavors, salt, corn syrup and other additives that are far from being fresh and healthy. On the contrary, they can be harmful to our health. With the NutraMilk, you can make broth from just raw wholesome vegetables and herbs which you can then freeze and have on hand when you want to flavor any dish, add more veggies and create a nourishing plate full of vitamins and minerals.

You can get creative with the ingredients you use and even better, use all the left vegetable scraps you may have from meal prep. Some basic ingredients are onion, celery, carrot, and garlic. Below is a delicious flavorful recipe created by chef Chris Owens. Enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 100 g Spanish onion
  • 100g carrot
  • 100g celery
  • 70g Leeks
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 50g fennel
  • 2 lt water

INSTRUCTIONS

  • Place all vegetables in the NutraMilk and press Butter for 3 minutes.
  • Add water and press Mix for 3 more minutes.
  • Open the spigot and dispense broth into a container of choice.
  • You can freeze broth in ice cube mold and use as needed.
