INGREDIENTS
For almond milkshake
- 2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt (choose non-dairy if vegan, paleo or on other non-dairy diet)
- 1 cup almond milk made with the NutraMilk
- 2/3 cups applesauce
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/3 cup Almond Dulce de Leche made with the NutraMilk or store-bought caramel sauce.
- Whipped Cream, for serving (choose non-dairy if vegan, paleo or on other non-dairy diet)
- Extra Almond Dulce de Leche for serving
- Extra ground cinnamon, to sprinkle
For almond milk
- 1 cup (150g) almonds
- 1 quart (946ml) water
- 1/8 teaspoon Pink Himalayan salt (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
For almond Milk
- Start by making fresh almond milk with the NutraMilk:
- Place almonds in the NutraMilk container.
- Press Butter cycle, set for 7 minutes.
- Press Start.
- Add water and replace lid.
- Press Mix (do not change the default Mix time).
- Press Start.
- Press Dispense, open spigot and fill your container with almond milk.
For milkshake
- Add all ingredients to the NutraMilk.
- Press Mix cycle, set for 1 minute or until milkshake is smooth.
- Serve with whipped cream, a dob of Dulce de Leche, cinnamon and you can maybe decorate with some slices of fresh apple, if you wish. Enjoy!
