If you haven’t made chocolate nut butter yet, you must! You can make it a super nourishing healthy nut butter by choosing 100% cacao powder which is full of great nutrients such as magnesium and a load of antioxidants and sweeten with stevia without adding any calories so you are getting all the nourishing properties of the nut. You can also make this a total indulgent chocolate spread by choosing your favorite chocolate bar or chocolate chips and adding a sweetener you love!
This recipe for macadamia chocolate but butter is so delicious!
Spread it over Sunfood´s coconut wraps with your favorite fruit and you have a perfect breakfast, snack or dessert!
INGREDIENTS
For wrap
- 2 Sunfood´s Coconut Wraps (turmeric, cinnamon or original)
- 2 tbsp. chocolate macadamia nut butter made with the NutraMilk
- handful of berries of choice for each wrap
- pomegranate seeds (optional)
- powdered sugar to sprinkle on top (optional)
For chocolate macadamia nut butter
- 2 cups (270g) raw macadamia nuts (we love Sunfood´s brand) feel free to substitute for any other nut.
- cacao powder or 1 cup of dark chocolate chips or chocolate bar of choice
- sweetener of choice (maple syrup, agave, sugar, honey, stevia, monk fruit sweetener, etc.
- 1/8 tsp. vanilla bean (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
For chocolate macadamia nut butter
- Start by making fresh macadamia nut butter with the NutraMilk:
- Place macadamia nuts in the NutraMilk container.
- Press Butter cycle, set for 4-5 minutes.
- Open the container lid
- Press Start.
- Add cacao or chocolate and sweetener.
- Press Mix.
- Open the container lid. If necessary, set for an additional minute for a creamier butter.
- Assemble coconut wrap with chocolate nut butter and fruit.
- You can warm up slightly on a pan to roll easier and that way it stays rolled up. Enjoy!
