Connoisseur 8-Cup Drip Coffee Brewer One-Touch with Thermal Carafe and Hanging Basket - SCA Certified Home Brewer
Description
Bonavita One-Touch coffee brewers makes it simple to make a complex and full-bodied cup of coffee at the touch of a button. Featuring a hanging filter basket, the Connoisseur offers curated features that mimic the artisan pour-over brewing method. Created to determine how to best define coffee quality, the Golden Cup Standard measures tastes for ideal coffee flavor intensity and brew strength.
Its stainless steel brewer features a powerful and precise 1500-watt heater that maintains an optimal brewing temperature of 195°-205°F (91°-96°C). The optional pre-infusion mode (bloom) immerses your freshly roasted ground coffee to allow degassing before brewing. The carafe lid, filter basket, and showerhead are all dishwasher safe and the plastic is BPA-free. Our specially-designed showerhead is ideal for extraction in small batch sizes and the one-touch brew action with auto-off makes it oh-so simple to use.

SCA Certified
Bonavita meets the stringent standards of the SCA, which recognizes home coffee brewers that meet their rigorous technical requirements. These requirements - which include proper temperature - are based on decades of industry expertise by the Coffee Brewing Center.
Bonavita is universally recognized as an exemplary home brewer and as SCA Certified Brewers who meet the qualifications for the SCA Golden Cup. Being the industry standard, Bonavita coffee brewers are used by judges in World Coffee Competitions.
Descaling
We recommend descaling the brewer at least once every 100 uses. If you have hard water, descaling more often is recommended. We recommend using a good quality biodegradable and phosphate-free coffee machine descaler. (Please note: Descaler should not be confused with Cleaner. They serve different purposes.) Descaler is designed to break down mineral buildup inside your brewer to ensure great coffee and consistent functionality. Follow the descaler manufacturer instructions for use. (We do not recommend using vinegar to clean or descale your brewer. Vinegar may not effectively descale your brewer, and can be difficult to rinse thoroughly. Vinegar may also leave behind an odor that can impact the flavor of your coffee.)
If your brewer is steaming more than usual, it is time to descale.
Cafe quality, without the wait

Your personal
home Barista
Our SCA-certified products bring rich, perfectly-brewed coffee to homes across America, with the push of a button.
Bonavita’s shower head evenly disburses water over the coffee grounds, which properly infuses the ground coffee and, with optional pre-infusion mode, the pour-over brewing method gives the coffee grounds more brewing time so that it hits the perfect notes.
