Almond Milk for Coffee & Lattes
Almonds are a powerhouse of a variety of nutrients that supports overall health. Ounce for ounce, almonds are one of the most nutrient-dense nuts on earth. Compared to other tree nuts, almonds are highest in fiber, protein, calcium, riboflavin, niacin and vitamin E. In fact, just one 8 oz. glass provides all the nutrition of 30 almonds, including 31% DV of vitamin E. This is an antioxidant that helps protect cells from damage and promotes healthy skin and hair.This alternative milk is a good source of macro and micronutrients, including:

Fact: In 2012, Almond board researchers conducted their first study with whole roasted almonds, which showed that the almonds provided fewer calories than thought. In whole unroasted almonds, 25% fewer calories are absorbed, while roasted almonds offer 17% to 19% fewer calories, compared to the number of calories listed on nutrition labels.

Yield: 1 quart (4 cups / 946 mL)
- 1 cup almonds (150 g)
- 1 quart water (946 mL)
- Place almonds in the NutraMilk container.
- Press Butter cycle, set for 7 minutes.
- Press Start.
- Open the container lid, add water. Replace lid.
- Press Mix (do not change the default Mix time).
- Press Start.
- Press Dispense.
- Press Start and open spigot to fill your storage container.
Add desired amount of milk. Sweeten to taste.For Lattes:
Use 1 ounce of espresso (30 mL) to 6 to 7 ounces (177 mL) of frothed milk. Adjust the balance to your preference. Sweeten to taste.
