We’ve added a hint of tropical flavor to the popular sunrise cocktail with fresh coconut milk made in the NutraMilk. Go alcohol-free with this delicious and refreshing Mocktail or add some coconut rum for a great summer cocktail!
INGREDIENTS
- 2 oz. orange juice (Freshly squeezed or store bought)
- 2 oz. coconut rum (omit for virgin/Mocktail)
- 4 oz. fresh coconut milk made with the NutraMilk
- Crushed ice
- 1 ½ oz. Grenadine Syrup
- sliced orange (garnish)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Making coconut milk from dehydrated coconut
- Place the unsweetened dried coconut in the NutraMilk container.
- Press Butter cycle, set for 1 minute.
- Press Start.
- Open the container lid and add 1 cup of water. Replace lid.
- Press Butter cycle, set for 1 minute.
- Press Start.
- Repeat this step for each cup of water, until you have used all 6 cups.
- Press Mix (do not change the default time)
- Press Dispense.
- Press Start and open spigot to fill your storage container.
*you can use more or less water depending on how full-bodied you want the milk to be.
- Shake or mix together orange juice, coconut milk and coconut rum (optional). Set aside.
- Fill glasses with crushed ice.
- Pour the orange juice and coconut mixture over the ice.
- Add grenadine in a slow steady stream. The grenadine will fall to the bottom of the glass.
- Do not stir. Add a straw and garnish with a slice of an orange.
- Serve immediately- Enjoy!
