These frozen finger food melts are delicious and nutritious. Made with only 3 ingredients: yogurt of choice, fresh peanut butter created in the NutraMilk and banana. These are especially great to relieve pain during teething months. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS
For melts
- 1/3 cup plain full-fat yogurt (dairy- free such as coconut or regular dairy yogurt)
- 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
- 1 tbsp. peanut butter made with the NutraMilk
For peanut butter
- 2 cups (275g) peanuts (untoasted, unsalted)
-
pinch salt (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Making the peanut butter
- Place peanuts in the NutraMilk container.
- Press Butter cycle, set for 2-3 minutes.
- Press Start.
- Open the container lid.
- If necessary, set for an additional 1-2 minutes for a creamier butter.
- In a medium bowl, combine the yogurt, banana and peanut butter until combined.
- Spoon onto a baking sheet or into a silicone mold. Either works great! Once filled, tap the silicone mold on the counter to get rid of any air pockets.
- Place the baking sheet or silicone mold into the freezer for at least 5 hours or preferably overnight.
- Take a shape out and serve to baby. These melt very fast (for safety reasons), so it's best to only take out 1 or 2 at a time.
Notes:
*You can sub peanut butter for any nut butter made with the NutraMilk you like.
