I really like the look and feel of the glass carafe! However, I had to order a replacement because the original was broken. It seems to be a little fragile. Hoping it will not break again. The company was very responsive to ship the replacement.

So grateful that Bonavita is up and running again in the U.S. We are coffee die-hards, and when our last back-up carafe was broken (we are also clumsy, apparently), we certainly weren't getting a different coffee maker. So we were making do with a four-cup measuring cup and chopstick to balance the basket on it! I started to scour the web for comparable substitutes, and lo and behold -- real Bonavita products were available again! When the drip basket sits on the carafe, you have to have the real thing. I should probably go ahead and buy another now!
